Job search and application as a process
Success in job search and application requires that you know what you are looking for. You may have done a personal and professional assessment and obtained additional information about jobs that interest you through job research. From this, you develop a strategy for your job search on the open and/or hidden labour market and finally apply. If you approach your job search in a structured way, the application is the last step of a longer process. Do not skip any step in the process and thus bring a sense of calm and concentration to your activities.
Application without myth: Content before form
Are you occasionally confused by the many tips and tricks on the subject of job search and application? I have been dealing with this topic for over 20 years and have experienced many fashions and trends. Yet the principles of a successful job search and application have remained the same. In the application coaching we develop a suitable search strategy as well as meaningful and authentic application documents without marketing-speak. For this purpose, I provide you with Word templates so that we can concentrate on the most important part of your application: the content.
Based on this, I offer advice on the following topics: Job search with LinkedIn, initiative applications, job search via your own network as well as via headhunters and personnel consultants. You will find a description of my approach as a link below.
